Jett Rebel and Jet Bussemaker open Pop Venue Neushoorn

On the 8th of February, Jet Bussemaker (Minister for Education, Culture and Science) and singer-songwriter Jett Rebel officially opened the music venue Neushoorn in Leeuwarden.

The building, designed by DP6 architecture studio, includes a concert hall for 650 visitors, a multipurpose hall for 300 visitors, a café venue for 200 visitors, several studios for dance and pop music as well as classrooms.

The venue will also be used during the day, since the Friesland College will occupy the spaces with their program D'Drive, a training program for professional performing artists and stage technicians. Close cooperation between the two organizations creates a unique platform for new young talent and professionals.

Theateradvies was the theater consultant for this project and responsible for designing and supervising the stage equipment for all the studios and performance spaces.
