Nijmegen – Renovation of Museum Het Valkhof

The renovated museum will have more space for temporary exhibitions, a spacious entrance and a transparent façade with the new museum café. An important feature of the new museum will be the new central stairway.

This renovation will also be used to achieve the sustainability certificate BREEAM NL In-Use-Musea. Architects UN Studio, the original designers of the building are involved again.

Theateradvies wrote the brief for the renovation and is now responsible for the close contact between design team and museum staff.
