Theateradvies selected as theater consultant for Beykoz Kundura in Istanbul, Turkey

Theateradvies advises the owners of Beykoz Kundura in Istanbul, Turkey. The old power house of a former tannery and shoe factory will house a theater, an arthouse film theatre and several event facilities. The monumental building from 1842 has been used over the past 10 years for all kinds of creative events and will now be renovated and made suitable for shows and movies.

Theateradvies was selected because of the international experience and extensive experience the consulting firm has with the renovation of cultural heritage and monuments.

Theateradvies is currently working with architects TenBrasWestinga from Amersfoort on the design of the performing spaces and the technical theater installations. The renovation of the former shoe factory is scheduled for 2017.
